Friends of mine took the AI Curriculum overview class and Mark Ratterman stated that the AI is tracking the number of appraisers going out of the business and those that are coming in is unbalanced..There are more leaving than staying

Not here. ALl the old timers are holding onto their licenses and "waiting it out" and in the mean time they are raping themselves by accepting garbage fees. Sigh. Same with newbies that just got out of some trainee mill. Any state numbers for MA? I'll do the research just point me in the right way please.

Oh yes. Voluntary surrender means that day.....not just waiting until the renewal date.

A voluntary surrender means they agreed to hand 'em over rather than go forward with an investigation, hearing or disciplinary action.


In NC it also means the details of the case are not public record and the appraiser just goes on his merry way with no published details of his deeds.
