I suspect he was unable to pay his fine... $2,500. The initial complaint over a property valuation in Tulsa that was 150 plus miles from his home and where he didn't even use the local MLS to find comps... ? Out of the neighborhood comps in an area where there should have been plenty of comps.

You've gotta feel some sort of sympathy for a guy who was so desperate he had to take on a job he didn't know how to do and then couldn't afford the fine. Some sort... just not much.

I used to know a thief in Joplin that always said "if you can't do the time, don't do the crime." I saw in the paper last week where they finally got him for running a scam on e-bay... looking at 30 years. Not sure if he can do that much time at this age, but I suspect the judge will accept whatever part of it he can do.

How is this similar? The Joplin thief did this stuff for the last 30 years and might have gotten caught and slapped on the wrist a few times. You can give odds on the bet that the same thing applies to the OK appraiser.
