The last I looked, Total recommended only Samsung tablets to work with 3.6 Is that true? What do you use?

Lol.....what about the magical Lidar measuring capabilities being so highly touted?

Per testers here on the forum, they can't even get through a 3.6 form on their PC. An appraiser would be sweating profusely trying to use their tablet in the front seat of their car for 7 hours... trying to get through the form and uploading it.

"Honey?? That appraiser who spent over an hour in our house this morning is still in front of the house in his car.... what could he be doing? Should I call the police?"

That doesn't sound right. Also, Android tablets are hot garbage. Avoid, get an iPad Pro even if refurbished from a couple years back:

Why F with either? Get a real laptop. And Samsung 20 and 21 do support LiDAR.

A laptop is a terrible device for an inspection. And support LiDar means nothing. It's the software that makes or breaks. Jobs understood this. Can anyone remember and Mp3 device before iPod? Of course not, they were all garbage.

LiDAR is not much unless an advanced commercial grade unit. Consumer LiDAR are just toys. Serious Plane mounted LiDar are meant for real surveying and archaeology work. The diagonal line is the old railroad grade of a narrow gauge train that ceased operation in 1918. Those bumps are prairie mounds.

I simply use an IPHONE. Been doing that for nearly 15 years. I tried the IPAD, but the camera wasn’t as easy to use. The only time I use the IPAD is if I have to draw a big house. Otherwise just get a large IPHONE 17 Pro. Then one can upload to the cloud as soon as done, which I ALWAYS do unless cell phone service is bad.
