TAF head Calls Jonathan Miller a Liar

I imagine every appraiser could ask themself WHY would they want to discriminate against a homeowner or borrower because of their race, creed, sex or color and they couldn't come up with any reason that would benefit them. Appraisers should be concerned about producing a credible report with supporting sales and appropriate adjustments. If they don't produce a supportable opinion there will be consequences and they already know it.
 
What is unconscious bias?

"Unconscious (or implicit) bias is a term that describes the associations we hold, outside our conscious awareness and control. Unconscious bias affects everyone. Unconscious bias is triggered by our brain automatically making quick judgments and assessments."

When I see a photo of a toothless old man with a swastika tatoo on his forehead....
It triggers my unconscious bias....
And I think MAGA.... :)
 
If that's what you think then that must mean you are untrustworthy in half of your assignments. Meanwhile and IRL the numbers don't support the allegation.
 
As many forumites have said, including me....
They/I don't let their/my personal feelings/beliefs impact their/my appraisals....
Swastika/MAGA hat included.... :)

When I see your posts I think you lie a lot just to see the reaction of others. :)
 
Why would I lie when the truth is better....

But you off all forumites have said we all have bias....
And when you do, I always agree with you.... (y)
 
I once did a duplex and on the lower level was the adult son's room, covered with Nazi flags, pictures of Hitler and other memorabilia. Typical 'shrine' room, not dissimilar to Elvis shrine rooms. Did that have an influence on my appraisal? The parents were nice, but being foreclosed on. It was just a duplex. Then there is the teenager who worships Black Sabbath, so they paint their room totally black. Again, no influence on comparable selection or adjustments. : )

So when you see thousands in the streets protesting that are pro Hamas. Does that trigger "terrorist"
