Ok Jo Ann,

Now I understand....I think.

I'm still using Athena, so when I have a copy of something I want to use in a report, I just add a blank "scanned page" to my report, then scan that doc onto that blank page with my old fax/scanner. I use the scan feature that is accessed by the photo icon, use the 'Scanner/TWAIN' setting and follow the steps. Very easy! That way I can add plat maps, owner provided lists, etc.

I don't know if Aurora has the same system or not.

With the add button in Aurora you can add a document from the clipboard or an image or from a scanner or from a pdf. The pdf is sharper and clearer than the scanned document--so I generally use the document from pdf choice.
