You can still us Apex with Alamode or any sketch software you prefer. I still use Apex because I know it and love it.

For those that dont know, APEX is a stand-alone application within Alamode.

All you got to do is find the .exe file and shortcut it to your desktop.

here is mine: C:\Win2000\ASketch\ApexWin3\apexwin3.exe Its right there on my desktop and all it takes is a double click.

Its great, I can use it to measure houses for Realtor Babes at $125+ per sketch. Thats more then most appraisers get for doing a whole URAR for an AMC_PhoneMonkey.comer.

Its so profitable to just measure houses. :icon_idea:

Realtor Babes? It this a joke Carnivore?

Nope, they pay very well to have someone measure their listings. That way they can look good in there professional attire.

The old Bags pay well also. My greater point is that you can make more money measuering a house then doing a $1.25 URAR for AMC_PhoneMonkey.com

Some Larger house get $200-$300 dollars for measureing.

Think! There is not an over-supply of thinking appraisers. There is an oversupply of non-thinking appraisers who limit themselves to filling out a URAR and then waiting 45 days for there money.

I've never got over $100 for measuring a house, and usually they are quite complex but it isn't bad money.

Ignorant

Call me ignorant but who are you sketching the property for and how do you get the business? I actually searched RealtyBabes on google and nothing came up ;).

I did a measure for RealtorBabe once, but have not done any for RealtyBabes. :)

I gave measuring as a business a shot once a few years ago. Unfortunately, my trusty competition must be doing basic measurements for around 50-60 bucks. I think they are providing full measurement services complete with detailed interior sketches for 80-100. Better pay than working at McDonalds, but full-time fast food job would carry some benefits.
