The Carnivore Diet

I ate a New Yorker last night, the whole thing with peas, mushrooms and pasture butter. It did fill me up, no urge for my usual bowl of vanilla ice cream and wild blueberries.

You know how to hurt a guy don't you? :cautious:

I have to watch blood sugars and a Keto / Atkins diet works well for me. I've drifted down 8 more pounds since the first of the year and hope to meet my goal of my college weight within another year. Haven't been there since 1988. My blood pressure is getting so low, my cardiologist said she may reduce my BP meds as once you are 70 you probably need a bit higher BP.

Tomorrow, I have the fun of getting a cyst carved out of my back and a couple stitches. I hate stitches. And it is a place where they are itchy stitchy.

no more big macs... :ROFLMAO:

The carnivore plan will help you lose weight. Arnold has a keto bread that tastes fine. You can make vegi sandwiches. Up you fiber. I also found 3 non fat cheeses at the supermarket. Unsweetened amond milk tastes better than non fat milk.

The biggest health problems today is fatness and lack of exercise, or good physical activity.

Sorry, I am a blueberry ho.

The less sweet a fruit or vegetabke is, better for sugar level. The darker fruits are the best.

Unfortunately, oranges, apples and sweet corn are very bad for blood sugar. Certain varieties are grown because they have a higher sugar conrent. Obviously, for sweet addicted folks.

If you want to be monumentally constipated, this is your diet. And besides, who can afford to eat beef every day?

youd be surprised how much you save when youre eating clean i spend a fraction of what i used to spend. my go to breakfast is a bacon, sausage and steak with egg breakfast bowl ($7) and lunch while inspecting is 4 large wendy's patties ($6)

yuck. Of course, the sweetened almond milk is like 20 carbs. Unsweet 2... and non-fat to whole milk about 12 carbs (per cup). Oat milk has considerable carbs but are considered medium impact. Oats are the least impactful for most people. OTOH, anything you cook can change from no carb to carb. Carrots are classic. Cooked carrots will spike blood sugar for most people.

my go to breakfast
Local cafe - Veggie omelet and no potatoes no bread. They will add salsa and tomatoes on the side. Virtually no carbs. I intended to go there this morninig as it is our local Liars Club meeting, but I had a cyst removed from my back yesterday and stitches it was so large. Not feeling like sitting in a hard back chair - ever have a toothache in your back?

At home, I make a breakfast biscuit - egg, bacon, cheese on a biscuit. The biscuit is 14 carbs, or 13 net carbs. Basically, the only carbs in it. I try to limit to 40-50 carbs per day. Seems to work. If I think I am gaining, then I go carnivore for a few days.
