yuck. Of course, the sweetened almond milk is like 20 carbs. Unsweet 2... and non-fat to whole milk about 12 carbs (per cup). Oat milk has considerable carbs but are considered medium impact. Oats are the least impactful for most people. OTOH, anything you cook can change from no carb to carb. Carrots are classic. Cooked carrots will spike blood sugar for most people.
Local cafe - Veggie omelet and no potatoes no bread. They will add salsa and tomatoes on the side. Virtually no carbs. I intended to go there this morninig as it is our local Liars Club meeting, but I had a cyst removed from my back yesterday and stitches it was so large. Not feeling like sitting in a hard back chair - ever have a toothache in your back?
At home, I make a breakfast biscuit - egg, bacon, cheese on a biscuit. The biscuit is 14 carbs, or 13 net carbs. Basically, the only carbs in it. I try to limit to 40-50 carbs per day. Seems to work. If I think I am gaining, then I go carnivore for a few days.
