Guess I should send this guy the link to this thread. That might shake/wake him up.

One of the many...

I just wish more appraisers had the "huevos" to stand up to these "Richard Craniums". No doubt he will go back to his "other appraisers" who will do it for less.

This was my first and LAST assignment with this jerk.

Have you checked the flagstar approved list in your area? There is only one appraiser on it in mine...

I bet you are in short company on that list.

My guess is he will cave and you will get your fee, as his buddies probably aren't on the list. Or he will pay an AMC 400 dollars to let someone do it for 75.

Either way, you win.

Vicarious Thrills!

It may have been less than professional, but I loved your response to the slug. He must be desperate to keep coming back after you told him off.

I love how he's not asking you to do anything illegal, but then goes right ahead and asks you to do something illegal.

Frank, does he just want the 1007 Single Family Rent Schedule or both the 1007 and 216 Operating Income Statement forms?

I charge $100 for the three rentals on a 1007 plus mileage if I have to drive out of town to inspect them. If the 216 is required I add $75 for that.

Did you say Fixed rate Funding? Oh those guys are ****ing ***holes!

SOB from there wanted a refund because his appraisal did not make value, then called me unethical for completing the appraisal when I knew it would not come in to what the wanted.

Charge them double for every appraiser they tried to screw over!

And here is an appraiser in California who charges $600 and you get the report in 3 days for the same service. Maybe we both are selling ourselves short?

Frank due to this borrowers other properties we had to switch this over to
NOO,

I NEED THIS EXACTLY (I am pasting from the conditions from the lender):

Provide an addendum to the appraisal on form 1007 evidencing a minimum of
$2,565.00 in monthly rental income for the subject property.

Please get this to me as this is the only condition that I need to go to
docs. Thanks again.

UNACCEPTABLE ASSIGNMENT - END OF CONVERSATION EXCEPT FOR .........>>

"the $50 you shorted us on our original appraisal."
.

$600 is typically what I charge. $400 for the 1004 and $100 each for the 1007 and 216. I would have charged an additional $150 for a rush.

Good job Frank, let them have it. Sometimes being "rude" is good business. I don't want to work for anyone who expects free work.

Same here $435 for the 1004 and $175 each for both the 1007 and 216.

I just reported him to Flagstar and Mortgage Fraud Watchlist. This is getting interesting.
