But the Saudi energy minister warned traders against shorting oil.​

Only an idiot would think a forest fire was "climate change" but then consider the source. Flying between NYC and DC is hardly experiencing the outdoors. Only the coarsest of smoke materials will be filtered by a mask. And by drifting 1,000 miles, it's unlikely any appreciable particles over 2.5 mu are still in the air. Smoke eaters wear respirators and hotshot crews have handkerchiefs that are activated charcoal infused. If you are sensitive to that smoke, staying indoors is best and that's no panacea and will only make it worse if people like Schumer forces this carbon free world upon us. There will be no air-conditioning to filter the smoke in any fashion, there will be no filtration systems etc. because there won't be any electricity. Under the conditions producing this smoke, the winds are light (thus not much wind energy) and the sun is dimmed (not much solar energy)...

Just read that solar energy in the NE was reduced by about 50% due to smoke...surprise surprise surprise
