These are the Morons Who are Running Climate with Our Government

Meanwhile - Greta Thunberg in the news. Mind you when a Finnish university awards the Swedish Scold an honorary degree in theology, we can only say hey, it wasn’t us that said the climate cult had become a religion. And that it would be even sillier to give her one in science. (CDN)

As for the vanishing Arctic ice, Susan Crockford (a real scientist who noted that the polar bears were thriving and not disappearing) notes that two Russian oil tankers have been trapped by this DISAPPEARING ICE (??) in the middle of summer. :rof: Weird, huh?

The extremists on both sides of the issue are highly biased or idiots if they really believe their assertions have any meaning.

I'm finding out that my Tesla to get optimal battery performance is less than optimal.
I shouldn't charge it to 100%. At best 80%.
And I can't let battery goes down below 20%. WTF.
That means I can't really drive 300+miles as Tesla has marketed.:cautious:

FYI - Oil is approaching $90 a barrel (WTI). If this persists much longer, expect the gas pumps to go ballistic - with the change over season at refiners in full swing, demand and price should be down, not up.

Oil prices on Tuesday jumped nearly 3% to the highest since November after OPEC+ heavyweights Saudi Arabia and Russia announced an extension of their respective production cuts.
Brent crude futures for October delivery climbed 2.2% to $91.08 a barrel, while front-month Nymex crude oil futures for October rose 2.7% to $88.02 a barrel, before giving up some of those gains later on Wednesday.

Sure you can, just carry a spare can of gas and a generator - when it runs out you probably are about 300 miles.... and in six or eight hours that little Honda generator will power you enough to get to the next recharging station.

I thought gas prices would have gone down this week.
I was at Costco yesterday and the unleaded is at $4.99 hitting near $5. Highest I'd seen in months. Seems like back to $5+ gas as new normal again.
