If we assume our planet is warming, how is it possible that on July 1, 2024, Greenland’s ice sheet posted an unprecedented 4 Gigaton summer gain? Data from the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) show this is the highest daily July gain since records began in 1981. During a period usually marked by significant summer melt, the charts show extensive snow and ice accumulation, with deep blue areas indicating significant mass gains. The 1981-2010 averages call for a 4 Gigaton melt at this time of year. We saw a 4 Gigaton gain, adding to the 2 Gigaton gain the day before. Do you think what is happening in Greenland matters?

Antarctic cold is at record levels. Even assuming we are warming - this is a long-term event starting at the nadir of the LIA - aka, Little Ice Age. And like the melting rate of an ice cube vs a 50# block of ice, it takes decades to melt, and ice has been melting since the middle of the 19th century, and clearly it is not because of SUVs. There has actually been very little warming over the past 20 years after a bump up during the 1990s. But the result of warming has been an increase in CO2 which is plant food. As a result, we are able to grow larger crops, and the increased temperature is so small as to be inconsequential for almost everything else.

So, the mouthpiece of the UN's Int'l Panel on climate Change (IPCC) has clearly stated that they have zero evidence of increased fire, increased hurricanes, increased tornados, floods, or any other thing that the public press and hysteria media swear to us daily that are caused by "global climate change" (note that "global warming" is changed to "global Climate Change" because they cannot prove real warming is occurring worldwide.)

Without arson and accidental fires caused by man, forest fires would be a fraction what it is. The Ruidoso fire was a natural fire, but over half of fires are the result of activities related to humans. We have more and more power lines in forests, more traffic, more homeless living in the woods, more deliberate arson.

Oh, that is predicted! They say to expect the unlikely, inexplicable, unexpected, unpredictable as the climate warms. But their models and measures are "accurate"! Or, as JGrant will add, that is weather, not climate!
