Those two strategies would certainly strengthen our position however we need to make sure that the world is safe for the "vibrant economy" that we are preparing for our children. We don't want them to have to learn Russian or Chinese to spend all that money.

Mike Because in order to win hearts-souls and minds your team has to have an opposition and a reason to rebel and fight for their cause. Even if I did not like Putin as long as Democrats and RINOs oppose him I would still support him as he can do more for our cause then what anti-Putin Americans can do.
It's a tactic I observed used by us in the 60 year Cold War with Russia and China. We never intended on attacking them nor them attacking us and it was beneficial for both sides to keep our people pitted against there people and vice versa. The cold war stopped because we had milked it for all we could and people no longer cared or even believed in it. This is the same with the Ukrainian issue as the average person couldn't even find it on map much less care about it sovereignty.. As Biden is losing power he is desperate to try anything to unite us in a common cause and him and his diplomats are mucked up living in the past and it depressing to be a Secretary Clinton or a John Kerry type when in 35 years you have accomplished nothing but living off tax payers and lying to people by saying that you stopped wars.

Therefore I am simply using a reverse cold war tactic and Putin versus Biden is one in which today's Non RINO members can get excited about . It's the old stand by Classic of David Versus Goliath or the Little Red Engine That Could. Nothing gets the troops fired up more than Anti-Biden and VP Harris Propaganda and the real beauty is those two and Nancy Pelosi are the gifts that just keep on giving as all three are self destructive and political dinosaurs.

When you have a Country that is almost divided 50/50 you cannot govern by pushing away the other 40% to 50% and this is why we now have about a solid 60% because Independents the Blacks and Latinos are now joining our cause. If I was advising Joe Biden I would be telling him to go back to Bill Clinton's Playbook when he initially over-reached but his handlers convinced him to pull to the center lines. Hell I was even on Board with Bill Clinton as he showed me that he knew in order to govern a country you cannot ignore half of the voters . I also did not agree in his impeachment and it and now all Pelosi has done has made it a weak and ineffective tool as now every-time one party doesn't like the another President they will try to trump up some bogus charges of impeachment. The other gift that keeps on giving is Nancy Pelosi Insurrection as it would have been tactically a better move to say it was terable but mostly a bunch of goof balls and was quickly gotten under control . BECAUSE Now Putin-Xi- Jinping and the entire world believes we almost lost control of our government which is not true.

Clinton's last six years where pretty much as conservative economically and foreign policy wise as Reagan.

I went to a Lutheran elementary school and a Catholic high school and religious indoctrination comprised about 25% of the curricula. Of course, that is rarely mentioned in the course syllabus. Ignatius of Loyola. Catholic Saint, founder of the Society of Jesus said "give me a child until the age of 7 and I will show you the man". The implication being that the child will be so indoctrinated by the time they have any form of "self will" it will be too late. The most effective form of religious indoctrination is applied at an early age, not the college level when they "should make their own decisions on the matter".

Mike, if you went to a private Lutheran elementary school and a private Catholic high school and were surprised that you received religious instruction, you're not as bright as I have been giving you credit for.

I wasn't surprised at all, just didn't have much say in the matter. And didn't let it bother me very much either. Although watching those around you (such as this forum) becoming indoctrinated into a false narrative for the benefit of those spreading it is never pleasant there were plenty of heretics in religious schools and we all knew who wasn't paying much attention in Divinity class. My first experience at "team building". People have been attempting to psychoanalyze me on here and so I thought a quick background into my religious views were appropriate to the discussion. Sorry for the interruption. My "screed" is sadly far less entertaining than Glenn's.

As a Lutheran, I can understand why you didn't enjoy Catholic school. The Pope is the Anti-Christ, you know.

By the time I got to high school all that stuff was somebody else's problem, not mine. When a cantankerous old codger on here gets riled up at me for religious reasons though they bring to mind my Lutheran elders - some of whom the whole community would have benefited from their "*** whooping". Don't get me started on the Pentecostals...
