Split depends on expenses and responsibilities. I get paid 40%. That being said, I am a full time employee, I do not need to provide business, and my taxes come out automatically. I have no expenses outside my vehicle, which is minimal, and most all needed data on the subject (pub recs info, plat map, directions, etc) is provided for me and put into file prior to inspection. In your situation, you should at least be getting 50% as you are doing all the work, but I would argue for 60% due to your expenses.
