wondering the same thing.... since they updated USPAP do we need 7hrs for some reason in the even year? Cant imagine thats the case just want to be clear on this as i will have to squeeze it in online

So we need this by July 1st of this year?

I will take a wild guess :) and state that you are not a member of ICAP. ICAP has for each and every USPAP cycle reminded its members of this requirements. Time to take the credit card out of your wallet and join: ICAPweb.org

You guessed wrong, any other assumptions (extraordinary or otherwise.... see what i did there)

All that I know is that ICAP has--for the past several renewal cycles where the requirement (7-hr. Update completed by June 30th of the even-numbered year) has been in place.

Thanks for all comments--I got it over with in June /class, not online--For the record i have taken an ONLINE course in the past for USPAP.. Ive got to say it was the most nauseating experience i ever had. Took 2x longer then it should. Never again. Countless pages/Mods/info about who runs what, who controls who ,,,and on an on.

Now just for the record- Ive been doing this 27 yrs,I dont know how many USPAP Classes i have taken, But they are always the same, LISTEN, ARGUE, get it over with,,,in my opinion they can just as easily mail out the changes, why keep on taking this
crap.? In addition it seems like all the courses offered every renewal year seem to be about the same,,, all the time, but lets Pony up !!! Spend our several Hundred Bucks + State fee for our 28 hrs and move on Another rant for today,,,Thanks

I think after one takes five 7 hour USPAP courses, they should offer a 3 or 4 hour update for those who have been appraising more than 10 years - that should suffice. If you haven't learned it in 10 years, another 10 won't matter. But I presume there is money involved with the education companies, etc. to preclude that from happening.
