HELLO ALL,

After some good reports from many of you i have retired my CDmavica for a refurbished Kodak 570.

It is wonderful.

Even at the lowest setting the photos are about 500,000 bytes. For relos that is too big, so I have to use a picsizer to convert them to about 50,000 bytes.

Hope you are having a good Thanksgiving.

Thanks again,

Arkie Ed

Hi, I purchased a Kodak C743 less than one year ago, and I have had to start enhancing my photos because they are too dark, even my outside photos. Is there something I can do to fix this problem? I have been looking for a backup camera on craigslist, I have heard to look for a wide angle lens. Is there a camera that is recommended.

Dark

There Are So Many Settings That One Should Correct The Problem.

My Problem Is That The Setting Button Is So Small I Cannot Move It Properly--like My Old Eyes.

I Just Left Mine On Default.

I Would Call The Kodak Center For Help.

I am not very happy with my Kodak v-570. I like the size and the wide angle but the picture quality is not as good as my old sony movica. The pictures look good when I review them but when I bring them to the forms, they are not as good. The pictures are not just clear. The size of my picture is usually 3.1 MP, the mode; flash and everything else are on default setting.
Is there anything that I have to do to improve the quality of my pictures?

Are you sure its not your report software? Check your settings in the software maybe it is resizing them before inserting them.

Moh,

I Have Found Them Very, Very Good.

Have You Tried To Print Them On A Good Color Printer, Or Say At A Wal-mart?

Good Luck, Ed

I'd have to say that I lean toward agreeing with Vegan702 on this.

Sounds like this is just a simple setting issue. But, if not, have you looked at PhotoFlair? This program has been around for quite a while and has been popular with a lot of appraisers. Other programs may offer a similar feature, but these folks have this "rocket scientist" technology (no kidding) and sometimes their stuff works miracles. Anyway, worth looking into... http://www.truview.com/

Hope this helps!

I just tried to capture an ocean view from the deck, living room and bedrooms of my subject today. The distance was not too far and I could see the waves and their movements with my naked eye and could hear them too. I took about 25 photos of the ocean wave with different angles W & T and with auto flesh set. Now that I am trying to use them, all of them are white as if I took pictures of clouds. It shows the green trees and roof tops on the way but no sign of water or wave. I am embarrassed to put those photos for the ocean view as none of them show any sign of water or wave or anything. I guess I have to use the MLS photos and explain that my photos were not good because I didn't have a good camera. V-570 kodak is waste of money.

Moh,

Is it possible that your camera is defective? I've had nothing but good results with the V-570.

moh by chance is your default set to macro?

Kodak has traditionally had two setting on their camera, A flower and a mountain, one is for close up shots or really small items. The wide angle and telephoto still work but image the camera focus on is close. The other (the Mountain) is for shots over 4 feet away.

You may be set to macro and the focal point is all wrong.
