VA Lender Asking For Xml Copy To Be Emailed Directly

Typically if they want it emailed, it is someone that does not have access to the Portal.

I would not email it to them. We are allowed to email in extreme circumstances, like if the portal is down, but I typically just wait until the VIP is back up.

Even in that situation, I have mailed it to the RLC, not the lender. Had that problem when the portal wouldn't accept multi family reports. Never sent it directly to the lender.

I was told by the Atlanta RLC never to email the xml file directly to the lender. I'm curious who told the OP that it was their choice if they wanted to send it. That doesnt sound correct to me

It was someone at the regional office....I never sent it & lender has stopped asking for it. Im just curious how the lender was able to use a VA appraisal to do what ended up being a "second home mortgage". Stuff like that just makes me less trustful of the lender.
