Your address was in someone else's e-mail list whose computer is infected. I have this happen every so often and I KNOW my machines are clean. So, the address is coming from someone else, not you.

Just keep Nortons running, that's all you can do.

Two years ago I have installed Norton Anti Virus (2002). Norton AV scans the incomming and outgoing emails on viruses (option), even the attachments.
Since this installation I haven't had any problem with a virus (till today )

That seems to be it. It's got to be my email address on some one else's machine. I use the free internet version of AVG anti virus and it has never let me down..

You said you use Norton- did it not quarantine the virus- mine does and I get a Klez sent to me almost daily.

I don't use Norton.. but I got a message from a machine running Norton that said I had sent them the Klez virus via my email address.

I use AVG. It's free and it's caught stuff that Norton missed and let through.

It did catch the Klez on my machine but I was just confused as to how the machine running Norton sent me a warning about the Klez. I'm just happy it's not on my machine.....
