They could have arranged for financing but didn't care. Believe me I know, my daughter-in-law (sports attorney) was intimately involved. One of the dumbest moves ever. Ask the Oakland resturant association if you don't believe it.
Raiders' management left too early from the negotiations Oakland lost the Warriors so I can't see why Oakland would let Raiders go.
Maybe Raiders were asking unreasonable demands.

I got through about the first page of the thread before it got political and I remembered many of you are idiots... from any/either/all sides and I skipped the other 22 pages.

The whole stealing thing, under $900 and they let it go. Somewhere amongst all the talk about who/what/why many forgot its just wrong to do that stuff. If we want to live in an orderly, respectable society this should never have gotten so far. Left/right, red/blue, up/down at some point we just let society ignore right and wrong and forgot parents are supposed to raise their kids to not do this stuff...Doing this stuff because they know they can get away with it is simplyfing it way too much. We have failed as a society that this is even talked about casually and people aren't up in arms about the people doing it.

We have a golden opportunity coming with the next two elections to purge these politicians who swear to uphold the law and then do what they damn well please in the name of 'equity'.

Unfortunately that trend won't be seen in California - between the changed demographics (aka the middle class having largely moved out) and the "legalized vote fraud" aka "ballot harvesting", its only gonna get worse on the Left Coast. And I take no pleasure in pointing that out.

California is too far gone-We are recalling George Gas-gone the District Attorney in LA County who came down from San francisco and he woudl not add specil charges for the muredr ogf thet ypoun LAPD officer who was murdered off duty while him and his girlfriend were looking for a house to buy. The POS wanted to charge them with minimal charges . Luckily Sheriff got FBI I to take the case as they were al career criminals and gang members. That POS has to go he wants to let out murders so they can be rehabilitated .

I wouldn't be too sure about that. People are going to be even more angry by then than they are now. $6.00 gallon gas might just push it over.

No $6 gas wont upset them as they all believe its due to climate change and they are now so woke that they vote for higher prices and higher taxes. Its a weird situation and almost like living in the twilight zone. They banned plastic forks and knifes unless customers ask for them. So a guy last week orders a breakfast to go and when he pulls out he parks and there are no utensils to eat it with. Its Eggs-Hash browns and biscuits and gravy. So he gets out walks in and screams how am I supposed to eat this with my hands. The guy behind the counter says its the law we can only put in a plastic fork or spoon if you requests it. and same with ketchup packets only of you request them. Now the guy goes ballistic and he says fine and he opens it up and throws it at the guy.. I am like food fight -food fight and out the guy goes. As a walk by I look at the guy who is covered in biscuits and gravy and said maybe yo shoudl just ignore the Governors new laws your going to get hurt.

Yeah but you are talking about progressives, I was taking about the rest of us. The rest of us don't make decisions based upon the way it should be, we make decisions about the way it is. $6.00 a gallon is going to grind this puppy to a standstill. It would have been nice if Newsome had taken a cruise vacation off the coast of the Tonga last week and his rear end was littered around the stratosphere right now. That's my idea of the way it should be.
