Correct on all counts. Very simple as you outlined, the NCAB Rules show a speficic way to state what kind of appraiser you are. The reason is so the use of titles and advertising will not be misleading to lenders, the public or others..
It is very simple, yet an awful lot of appraisers are not in compliance. I never heard of the board doing anything about it except telling you to change to the correct wording.
Why do we use a seal? I have no clue.
