I would say $400 to $450 also, because that's what I used to get before the HVCC. I still have one direct lender client that pays $425 for FHA, but every other current client I have typically pays $350 to $375 and sometimes up to $400 for FHA.
Very interesting. You are the first person to mention anything under $400. Everyone else has said they still currently get $400+ for an FHA.
I have a company begging me to do them for $375 and are trying to use the line "that's what all the other appraisers charge". They just don't want to give me the extra $25. But I know they charge the client way more than that.
