What is the deal with all of the profile photos of dogs

Who started using a dog photo as a profile photo first? My friend and I have a bet. I am betting it was Fernando. I started appraising in 1981, that would be about six years in the business in dog years.
Started out at the appraisal district, one year later started doing residential and two years later I went into commercial. Now I am just doing residential. Spent a couple of years doing commercial underwriting. I am now in Texas but have appraised in about thirty different states. Ordering an appraisal is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get.

No a dog was my first pet and then two beagles and then two strays who died of old age. Now just 3 cats and two Pit Bulls who keep the Riff Raff off my property.

I would use my dogs photo for my profile but i can not get them to sign the release
