Crying about paper losses is dumb. I second the notion the economy will be strong by the end of the calender year.

Agree. If I worried about paper losses I wouldn't be in the market to the extent I am. My paper loss in the last week has been enough to buy a nice Ferrari but I'm still buying a couple of stocks tom'w.

I like the banks and homebuilders. I don't like NVDA and tech in general.

NVDA has been 10% of my portfolio for almost four years and my cost basis is crazy low so I never sold any. I'm bullish on it at the $75 to $80 range where i will probably start dollar cost averaging into it and if it sees $50 to $60 I'm going to add another 500 shares but ive never traded Nvda and frankly had no idea four years ago much about AI.

It was a young guy who is early into crypto that said it was good for a older guy scared of bitcoin. The rest of my portfolio is pretty conservative stuff.

I do trade currencies and commodities but just 10% of my cash as mad money rather than gambling. Im not great at currencies but learning as I go but have done fairly good over 25 years on things like grains and lumber.

The crazy young guy who got me into Nvda four years ago at 30 is now a multi millionare off cryto and tech which surprised his father and I because we thought 10 years ago he was crazy and we thought crypto was a fantasy.

A couple of option guys were on Liz Claman's show this afternoon and both agreed Trump's policies will produce a boom in the organic economy. Another hedge guy said this market is the best buying opportunity in his lifetime. Very impressive bullishness.

Trumps media is a Shell company whose real value may be zero but it made him billions so even at $1 buck a share he still wins but when it gets some real media holdings inside it could be worth a lot. It's just some paper to trade and professional and amateur day traders know that so no foul no harm.
