Used to teach for The Columbia Institute
Liked George Harrison's class very much- absolutely the best USPAP class I've taken was about 20 years ago under him. He had a lot of insights on TAF and how the system worked. I think a guy named Berhart or something like that taught USPAP once, about 2006ish in Bentonville. I think that was the only Columbia class I took that wasn't Harrison and it was a good class as well.

Dave Reinhold teaches in AR at Ray Camp Inc. He has taught some of the most interesting classes I've taken and outside the norm. I really liked his landscape and tree appraisal classes (he is a licensed forester and surveyor as well.) He also coordinates with an on line class provider. http://www.raycampinc.com/career_enhan.htm

George was, and still is, one of the best. Just has that uncanny combination of depth of knowledge, ability to make it relevant, and the kind of guy that just makes everyone feel like they're a good friend. Bryan Reynolds and Diana Jacob do a pretty good job as well - a bit over the top sometimes, but lots of knowledge. His school is called Appraiser eLearning I think. Haven't had any of his classes.

I've used McKissock the past few renewals. It's fine content-wise, but I won't use them again until they change the format. You have to click "next" after almost every sentence or paragraph and it is very annoying.

I'm a big fan of the Appraisal Institute. I typically look for classes that have the potential to involve me tapping into new lines of work. I can justify paying a lot for a class if I can use it to tap into different income streams.

I do believe AI has the most relevant material out there, but I guess you get what you pay for. Most CE is pablam, but AI has a few courses that are actually quite challenging.

McKissock will give you a discount of 10-20% if you call or e-mail them. This doesn’t count for USPAP because TAF needs to suck every penny they can get out of you to keep their big salary and pension plans flowing.

Zoom Zoom Zoom to Columbia Institute. I was not a fan of Zoom HOWEVER they have resolved their
previously reported scammer issues by providing not only individual tickets prior the class & also instructing what "not not" to do.

The class I took zooooooomed

Otherwise, what a l-o-n-g long long daZe for USPAP any other "online" way...as I did earlier in the year. Torture, really.
