Which is the best online school for continuing education?

Soooo many trick questions. Saving USPAP for last.

I got a package of four 7 hour classes plus 4 hour laws and regs from OREP for $188. They have a discount for their insurance customers.
Already have USPAP plus 7 hour FHA class, so I'll need 3 more hours after these.
License renewal with the state is a real bite in the azz at $1,030.
Grr......

I have taken a McKissock course and basically find the selection rather dull and worst of all don't like the format. I just finished my CE although we had been given a 90 day extension to complete it. Since almost certainly no live classes will be given unless the state decides to have our annual "Day with the Appraiser" event sometime in the summer. So I signed up for a Richard Hager course via OREP. I like the format. It was a lecture course, and you had tests after every few modules. Far better format than the McKissock course I took.

You probably shouldn't take any McKissock classes.

This one from Orep and Hagar was good.

Identifying and Correcting Appraisal Failures

Still working on this from Hagar, but I think it is even more useful. Which is why I am going slower and not just knocking it out.

How to Support and Prove Your Adjustments

I have no idea if he is related to Sammy. But I do like Sammy's work. :peace:

Old school...I prefer to attend a class in person rather than taking it on line. Of course that was before "social distancing" The Appraisal Institute still provides the best in appraiser education.

The USPAP online course was torture.

I don't know what other states they are in for FL I like Bert Rogers for cont ed clear presentation and relevant to field work material

When I need something close and cheap I use McKissock. Otherwise, AI, if I want to learn something and interact with appraisal intellects. Being a commercial appraiser, the main problem is that McKissock is not set up to handle commercial appraisal issues. Each time I bring one up, the instructor's natural instinct is to ask, "Are there any other commercial appraisers in here?" Usually not. The AI instructors are well seasoned.
