Who else hates QUICKSOURCE?

Meanwhile....my ACI is smooth as silk.

Yes, the recent security upgrade of ACI seems to have CURED the software of its formerly habitual "crashing feature".

What the **.k. does it mean, "Q3 which differs with 16 of your peers" Out of how many? 16 or 250 peers? What did my peers use Q2, Q1, Q4?

Just go with their guidance and fly below their radar in the future. You can't question (much less fight) "City Hall". ;) (Caveat: I mean if you get one of those types of letters from Fannie.)

If the above quote is from an AMC revision request, well ... I feel your pain - and frustration. :cautious:

I just talked to alamode sales staff about Quick Source and how I would be affected if I didn't choose to purchase it. Quick Source is ok but for my area not worth the cost and I still have to look up data on county site because quick source is not reliable. I ask if I would still be able to import CSV files that I export from my MLS and mapped to the side by side grid. The sales rep said that this feature would be going away with quick source being the only option available to import MLS data. Do others use the MLS text import option? Will you switch to Quick Source? How do you feel about lossing the text import option?

The .csv text file export from MLS into my old custom spread sheet has been my bread and butter for nearly 20 years. I never want to lose it as it would be borderline (short term) catastrophic to my workflow. I don't use Alamode and never heard of "Quicksource" before this thread ... I hope I never do again .... :cautious:

I don't like the MLS import option, I would spend too much time making changes when I could have filled out the grid my way in less time. So, Quicksource can just go away as well as the peer comp grid. I don't want to add to their AVM database.

I use the MLS text import function. I fully intend to never send alamode another penny, but that will certainly seal the deal. Deprecating necessary, long-used features so they can sell inferior add-ons will heighten my motivation!

My info is priviledge.
I was fortunate to have an appraisal one block away from a pending sale which I did the appraisal.
I know the ratified price and condition and I'm best appraiser to do this assignment.
I don't want to share my valuable info with other appraisers.

I am thinking this is just a way to make reports uniform but perhaps flawed as well. If everyone imported the same bad info, then in the mind of UAD et al, it becomes "true". Problem solved.
