Will the pain go away?

I was switching channels between CNN and Fox.
As a consultant, I can help CNN improve their ratings.

First, get CNN with better makeup and make them physically more beautiful to look at. Unfortunately, it's TV and people like to look at beautiful people. Fox is good at putting as many pretty faces on their show even though some I find disgusting like that Ingraham lady.

Second, get CNN to stop pretending they're objective and go after the Right with sarcasm and belittlering. Spokespeople need to speak faster and make fun of the GOP. Thus it be less boring and we can also laugh.

Follow those two advices which Fox has perfected and CNN will be number 1 rating again. ;)

a friend of mine had the same problem...massive pain...went to the doctor and was diagnosed with bone cancer...i told him not to get the poison poke

No, arthritis doesn't heal, the pain won't go away. If it's in your knees, a doctor will just drone on about you having your knees replaced. In your back, they will prescribe pain killers that you will take all the time, until they become ineffective (don't bother with them, they come with all kinds of other nasty effects). And it will get worse over time.
Some people find relief using boron, simple unadulterated Boraxo cleaning agent, but it is classified as a poison, so few use it. it is about as poisonous as table salt, on the poison index. It actually helps to repair joints and brittle bones, however, it is not a pain killer. cheap as sin, but the pharma industry won't study it (although some doctors have), as it can't be patented, and if it turned out to be universally effective, they would lose all the pain killer sales.
Boraxo can be taken as 1/4 teaspoon daily for men, half that for women. I use it, and have gotten some relief, but I'm 64 and my arthritis is advanced. Some have tried it and claimed relief in as little as 2 weeks.
Keep in mind, I'm no doctor, I'm simply passing on information, but if it interests you, you can do a search online and read the entire story of how it was discovered to help, by a medical doctor that was prescribing it, until his version of the FDA classified it as poison.
I can lie down and sleep with no pain yet when I stand up and turn my waist, I feel it. Could be arthritis.
After working out especially on the tread mill, the sore pain goes down significantly. That's my cure - exercise.

Ya know, there was a sports figure I'd heard about many years ago that was in constant pain due to racking up injuries over his career, I don't recall who it was, though. He developed a yoga routine that he, and many others, claimed reduced their pain to almost nothing.
Wish I could recall his name, perhaps somebody else here might remember?
Yoga in general strengthens your core and promotes flexibility, could be something to look into.

Sadly, I have experience with bad knees and a weak back. When did you first notice it? Oh, about a week back---Jerome Howard, 1942

My knees were in great shape until I hit 62, then arthritis hit big time. Took Advil, got Euflexa shots for awhile. They were effective but shortlived. Even went the stem cell route when my wife's offered it for free. Finally got total knee replacements, separately, I'm not crazy. Totally worth it, if you're on the fence about it, just do it. First think you'll say is why did I wait.
I've dealt with chronic muscle spasms in my lower back for years. Stretching and heat work pretty well. Recently my PCP gave me a 5 day prescription of steroids. Really helped. Now I know why those athletes use them, felt great and had no pain.

I think Diamine Oxidase and Couch grass root help with inflammation.

My knees were in great shape until I hit 62,
I was diagnosed with arthritis at age18. At age 45 I was told I had a perfectly normal amount of arthritis...for a man of 70...so I guess I now have the arthritis of a 95 year old... Exercise is about the best you can do and surgery is a last resort...the orthopedic guy I go to isn't knife happy.
