This one just came in this morning... FAXED on the UW stip page....

Background first...

When I take front photos of my subject, I take it straight on, at about 45 degrees to the left, and about 45 degrees to the right. I will often use one photo on the cover page and another on the subject photo pages.

The stip:

Appraiser to provide matching pictures of the front of the subject on the cover page and the subject photo page. :rof: :Eyecrazy: m2:

EDIT HERE:
This was for a good client who called me to tell me about it and said that he thought it was the stupidest thing he had ever seen. Also, he wanted to apologize for me having to deal with the stupidity.

My reply to the UW would something along the lines of KILL YOURSELF

It is my table of contents... Since I rarely get UW stips... I just had to have a good laugh at the stupidity...

When I was an FHA reviewer, we took the cover pages and all the other BS that didnt have to do with the appraisal and ripped them out and threw them away. I agree - dont waste their paper and toner. concise.

That is truly an interesting comment.

Sort of like what lenders do now except they're using software like ACI.

Ed... That's way too funny. What's wrong with people? Oh wait a minute. You said underwriter, didn't you?

Yes, it was an underwriter. I would not have believed it had they not sent the actual UW page... But then again, that client would not waste my time on something like that unless it was being made a problem for them.

So just who judges what is and what isn't needed?

Just how much of a report is BS????

I have had that stip before. Just considered the UW as a one cell critter that the dung beetle just might go after. (been off the dung beetle kick for a few days had to bring him back):clapping:

Once had a stip to remove the 'street scene' pic because there was a grain elevator in the pic! Argued but lost, sent it back with a pic the other direction with JD dealership and lots of farm equipment.

Thought the UW was going to stroke out!
