My parents were transfered to Springfield when I was in college. Mom hated it. Dad had lived there prior.

I spent a summer out there. I dont care for the humidity. Not enough topography. They're pathologically incapable of merging onto the freeway in any kind of sensible fashion; about 1/2 of them think there's a stop and wait sign at the bottom of the on ramp. The on ramps BTW have some of the best views in the area. They got these damm trees that throw off three inch long wood spikes. I spent half the summer pumping fix-a-flat into the tires on the mower.

I'm not tied to Ca. but there's about a dozen states higher on my list than Mo.

If you decide to come here to MO. Get ready to do alot of rural properties. Look me up. I can show the ropes around here. I cant help but believe it would be easier for you to learn the market here than it would be for me out in Cal

That's our favorite Summer past time in these parts. If anyone would a few just let me know. I can ship you a quart fruit jar full so you can turn then loose in your part of the country. I hate the fact that we are the only ones that get to enjoys those little devils

I hope everyone is as nice as Ed Berry. I remember moving to Oregon back in the early '60s and everyone was mean. I think Webbed Feet is from Oregon...that explains a lot. LOL.

Only because the neighbor didn't want you stealing cherries from their orchard.

I wouldn't mind working for a local appraiser and could probably be of some help once I figured things out.

You could always build a raft and float down the muddy Mo looking for mischief and painting fences. One of those grandsons might make a worthy companion. LOL
