I have a lot of family in Ripley, Clarkburg, and between Clarksburg and Parkersburg.

Born and raised in Huntington. Marshall is getting HUGE.

My father was a minister and we moved all over the state. My last stay was in Logan. I was there for more than 10 years. I have been in Knoxville, TN since 1994.

It is great to finally see some activity in the WV forum. I am from Charleston but work in Nicholas County.

I only wish that there were more of us on this forum. I have learned a lot from hanging out on here.

I was raised in WVa went to Brooke High in the northern panhanle then to WVU. Moved to ILL after college, I try to go back every year or two. I miss the Cheat Lake area.

Yes! Cheat Lake is a great area. I've only been there a couple of times in my teenage years chasing the ladies (I've grown a lot since then  ) but it's such a nice place. On the lake is the best place to be especially in early fall on Saturdays because there is no way I'd go around Morgantown when there is a home game. The place is nuts!

P.S. Go Herd!

Anyone like me who has family in Ripley has my deepest sympothy. :Eyecrazy:

No, for real though I miss the place like crazy but nice to know I can always go back to visit. Although each time I go back it looks less and less like the place I remember.

I agree. When the movie came out it brought a lot of attention to the area. And with the news the school might have a NASCAR sponsered Nationwide car sometime this year is just crazy. For those who follow racing at all. I didn't until recently but have come to enjoy it. DVR makes it bearable.

Well hopefully we can get some more and keep this going!

Had some great time on Cheat Lake when I was at WVU.
