You know you are getting old when you are older than all your doctors, some of whom look like kids.

I needed an injection in my knee, but my regular physician was unavailable. Instead, a young female doctor came in to assist me. I asked her if her mother had dropped her off that day. The same situation occurred at my urologist's office. It's not a problem, women generally have smaller hands!

Years ago I had a small bump on my back. I didn't like the feel or the look, so I requested to remove the small cyst.
It was rather quick, cut out, dig out the cyst stuff, and sell back.
After that my back was in pain. When I lie in bed to sleep it hurt. Painful for few weeks.
Afterwards when it "healed", I looked at the scar and it was unsightly.
It looked terrible and hoped it goes back to normal.
Never did. When I go topless, my back looked like I had a large stab wound that never was stitched.
Learned my lesson not to do any more invasive treatments/surgery (not even Botox, Ugh).

Maybe you should have gone to your doctor rather than having you gardener remove it.

The cut was done in the office with the nurse.
The doctor slit the cyst and took out this yellow gel substance.
Seems like a year later, another cyst popped up near the cut cyst. Ugh.
I left that alone. No more cuts or surgeries for sure.

I've had several doctors that i was very impressed with. Now have a nurse practitioner, nothing wrong with me, that i like. And have also had several doctors who seemed like a bad appraiser, just doing the minimal to get buy. Regular doctors got killed by the hmo & medicare fees. They had that virus before we got our AMC virus.

My PCP of 10 years recently got out of hospital system, starting a weight loss clinic. Too many patients to see per hour to do her job properly. Patients are seen as clients. I think hospitals have adopted the AMC model.

There are a time for small fingers.

A huge problem. A doctor told a friend they had cut from 20 minutes per patient to 15- so 4 patients per hour - forcing them and the nurses into a sort of tag team getting it all done. It took six months, short 2 days from my first to last visit to a urologist as each appointment or test stretched out and was rescheduled time and again.
