Are we still permitted to inspect in NJ?

I sent an email to the state appraisal board but did not get an answer yet. Other states (Illinois) classifies us as part of banking from what I read on another site and therefore essential to keeping capital flowing into the market.

Oops - didn't realize I was posting in the NJ forum! Sorry about that!

don't get side tracked by those who have an undisclosed financial stake.

The governor's website.

But the bigger question should be, not if you have to stay home, but if BUYERS have to stay home,
do you have an OPEN and COMPETITIVE market. Does "the market" pose any undue stimulus as of the effective date?

And when those borrowers are underwater later,
and are still under lock down,
do you think they will look to recoup their losses,
by at least reading their recent appraisal?

Which is exactly why, in a much earlier thread, I was predicting some attorney (c.2025) saying something like:
"You knew, or should have known, that any appraisal made during early (or middle, or end) stage of this crisis would necessarily be invalid, given the Certification you signed !!!" Blah, Blah, Blah.

Exactly!

And a reason to keep a running list of dated headlines that "buyers" would be reading.

Oh and unemployment reports, and stock reports (especially banks) and oh my, REITs and their stocks.

Trump considers ‘enforceable’ quarantine in New York, New Jersey and parts of Connecticut
“I’m thinking about that right now. We might not have to do it but there’s a possibility that sometime today we’ll do a quarantine,” Trump told reporters at the White House Saturday. “Short-term, two week on New York, probably New Jersey and certain parts of Connecticut.”

Hey honey! Let's go look for a new house to buy.

If no one else can leave their homes.

Us essential workers will get a great deal at "market value".

It's not as if this is a local flood or tornado or blizzard that hit a small section of a state....

No investor/lender really needs to be alerted to the pandemic....
