Going back to the gym

Not good time to travel.

Probably not gonna do what has been an annual trip back east to visit my Grandkids. And their parents.
Flying became the suck before the virus, now it's worse.
Driving 1600 miles one way is a long and boring road that leads to their door, with multiple motels along the way. :cautious:

I got my concept 2 ( D model ) rowing machine delivered, easy to put together, using it and it is great Does not even look horrible in the house kind of sleek in the living room

Let's see new car-a dog and now a D-model rowing machine you are rowing right along : ) LOL

Just don't try to row across an ocean.

I gave away a rowing machine when I moved in 1987.
Have not missed that clothes rack. :peace:

The county may close my gym in next few days. Tempted to go one last time before lockdown.
I'm thinking going there when first opened when hardly anyone there.
Yet I can't wake up that early.

I couldn't wake up earlier but got to gym at 8:12 AM. Lots of people.
To social distance, I watch for isolated machines with people further away.
When someone gets near me, I move to next machine. I avoid sweaty people.
Also, I try not to use an equipment right after someone uses it.
I wear N95 mask but most young people wear a cloth or bandanna which I find not sufficient.
Everyone is allowed in the gym for an hour then kicked out.
Hope county won't shut down my gym this week.

Try wearing a bandana over the N95, wash bandana after each use, will extend life of N95 and keep N95 surface somewhat cleaner, have to get used to greater pressure drop.

Gym seems too risky, so will continue to watch yoga on TV. If follow every pose, will get a full eyeballs workout.

Quit going to the gym! I guarantee that you'd get a better workout with a sled and a few sandbags from Home Depot. Find a flat grassy area or even a parking lot. This is a real workout, unlike sitting on a bunch of machines.

I personally would never work with an N95 mask while working out; I find it too suffocating.

There was a video from an Irish doctor. He put 6 masks on and tested that oxygen level still same wearing all those masks.
I think it makes it more sweaty and uncomfortable with all those masks.
I recently bought these cool looking black cloth masks making me look like a ninja superhero.
It wasn't that expensive but I like to wear them to look good but I'll still wear the N95 at the gym.
