Moving to Seattle

I don't know why you guys giving this poster a hard time.
 
She asked a simple question. How is the appraisal business in Seattle.

9 pages of stupidness in this thread. All because a non regular poster asked how the business is in Seattle.
 
Let's recap shall we?
She asked about business in Seattle. Glen responded with "are you crazy?"...ok...that was out of context and really didn't address the question...so strike one against Glenn.
Things pretty much go downhill from there but the OP definitely escalated then proceeded to flail away at anyone posting a response. There's strike 2,3,4,5,6 & 7.
Can still get on base with 1-2 strikes. Noooo...that just wasn't gonna happen. Now we are all idiots and her, ahem, Haavard educated friends are gonna take care of her and she doesn't need our help anyway.

IMO If one is going to participate in a national forum populated with folks who get paid to have an opinion, one had better toughen-up just a little bit. This was always a place where ideas and opinions are challenged. Sometimes it's respectfully done...sometimes the monkeys throw poop. Much depends on the attitude of of the poster. Anyone so easily triggered by an off-hand, stupid response is going to struggle here. Continuing to flail away when the shovel should have been put down long before just becomes entertainment.

She seems pretty tough to me. Got a bunch of animals attacking for no reason and shes still posting. What is this like 20 vs 1. I don't see that she is fazed by the regular posters stupidness. You guys some animals.
 
not sure about seattle, but the murder rate here has sharply increased to us racing to be closer to number one. now that is scary, but when i looked at the list there were no appraisers murdered. that is a good sign if you want to move to any new city. anybody notice all the young white girls throwing bricks and looting. such fowl language against everyone from their mouths. see, college payed off.
 
The crack about "are you crazy" was clearly aimed at the current events in Seattle. Things just went downhill from there.

I never insulted her.
 
Anybody with a modicum of sense would have realized that Glenn's comment was nothing more than a sarcastic joke. Considering the current climate in Seattle. It would seem to me that anybody that claims to be as educated as the op. Would have realized that their post might raise some eyebrows, After Glenn's post. It devolved into the op being condescending and sometimes outright insulting. Attacking everything and everbody. If you are going to take everything so personal. You are in the wrong business.
