Moving to Seattle

I think the following exchange sums it up. Someone responded with a perfectly reasonable comment. And then was summarily called a dum dum. Who is the bully here?

@CarolC84: I wouldn’t take it personally, I think he just puts “LMAO” after everything. Not sure why. Seattle and the surrounding area is great, I was just there in early March, just as Covid-19 was evolving. Mountains, ocean, big city, etc. Saw a great concert at WaMu theater for a band on their first tour date for a 24 date world wide tour (The Strokes), which was their last date due to C 19.

I would focus on licensing, see what requirements are, see what reciprocity they have with Kentucky (if any), and start to chat with some local appraisers and realtors to get a handle on the market. Obviously, they are going through tumultuous times there, like my city; does not mean there is no demand for good appraisers willing to work hard. Scope it out.
Why would you assume I am not licensed there and haven't been there? I'm fact, I am licensed there and have been there. So who's making the assumptions? Clearly the prior was autocorrect dum dum.

Did the troll from Pittsburgh move to Kentucky under a new screen name?

Good luck in Seattle; you'll fit right in.
This entire thread over Glenn's rather innocuous statement - taken out of context by the OP...
She agitates me almost as much as the Yenta and Uncle Billy. She is absolutely bat-crazy and needs to be locked up in Cell #1 in a State Mental Institution and placed in a cell with another crazy appraiser or realtor. I can envision her wandering up and down the halls mumbling about spelling errors, and explaining the differences between Synonyms and Antonyms to a bunch of other insane people. Unfortunately she does not have sufficient wisdom to prefer censure, which is a useful tool when dealing with people like her. I will give her the Forums PITA award for 2020 and like a bad virus I hope it goes away and never comes back.

I just can't believe we're on page 10 on a completely and utterly inane thread... I'll admit, though, it was a pretty good read through the posts.

I am looking to move to Seattle in the next month.

....I am concerned that there will not be enough business in Seattle because things there are still so shut down due to Covid.

Does anyone have any insight into the availability of business in Seattle right now?

Any “uneducated” person with a high school diploma (Let alone a “college” degree) who is considering moving to another state, in this case Oregon, would not be in the dark As to the Real estate market there.

In this case it’s a real estate appraiser making inquiry from appraisers, the majority of which don’t work that market. A few google searches is all it takes. As far as being “concerned” about getting work goes The OP obviously, as smart as it would like to portray Itself as being, did zero due diligence.

Then again, maybe she should just consult with her Harvard friends she’s moving in with - seeing as they’re gonna make her dreams come true

ya’ll been catfished.

So when we're talking about animals, what kind of animals are we like? Are we like a friendly and outgoing Labrador Retriever? Or are we more similar to animals that are hostile, sullen and antisocial like a wolverine or polar bear?

or honey badgers? :rof: :rof:

Off topic, but check out the youtube on honeybadgers. That's even funnier than this thread...

I was imagining something like a bunch of pigs in a pig pen. :)
