I don't know why you would make that stuff up. Half my cousins are doctors in different states. They all wear masks, safety glasses, and face shields. I went to primary care a couple weeks ago and they all wear masks, glasses, and face shields. I went to dentist last week and they all wear masks, glasses, and face shields. Your wife is not working in the one hospital where the nurses walk around with nothing but a N-95 mask.

The greater the exposure the greater the need for additional protection. My, your, many others exposure To the virus dosent even come close to what people in the medical profession are exposed too. While wearing a mask is no guarantee one will not become infected, masks could certainly, and mostly likely DO mitigate the viral load

I knew you were "our young friend" but I didn't realize just how young....

So the scenarios that I've heard should work well with your position....
At your age you will probably be told to take the vaccine during the summer months or later....
By then, hopefully we will know how the body reacts to the vaccines....

I have never gotten a flu slot in my 55 + years of life.

I will get the Covid-19 vaccine as soon as I can.

As long as it doesn't kill me and I don't grow a 3rd eye.......why not?

My wife's "team" is about twenty people of which about 14 have been exposed to Covid patients. The interns on the team got the most exposure as they went into the Covid units.

Four people out of the ~20 got Covid. Two interns got it, one got it at a wedding and the other got it from the gal who got married when they worked midnight shifts together.

The two other people on the team who got it do not take of patients at all. One got it from her daughter and the other got it at a family gathering.

Besides the Covid units, the emergency room is the highest exposure. Mask rules are very strict in the ER bays and no one got it from the ER.

Most of the nurses I know that worked with COVID-19 patients ended up getting it. Given that they are all generally healthy, their symptoms were mild and all recovered. I am not familiar with the details of the PPE they utilized.

The recall was a precaution, and after careful review, no evidence of B. cereus infection was found in recipients of recalled Hib vaccines.

Oh well, I don't have to make the decision now, I have it. Doctor said I should have anti-bodies for 3-6 months or so, but everyone is just really guessing.

My wife tested positive 12/24. I started to feel like a head cold over the weekend, lost smell Monday morning. Odd mix of symptoms. I have the chills right now, haven't had those until now. Mostly sinus issues, nasal drip with a cough and mild headache but not a sore throat, mild muscle aches come and go. My wife's symptoms were heavy congestion and cough, at first they thought she may have had bronchitis.
