Crazy, my sis-in-law dropped off food for New Years around lunch time. Wife fixed me a plate and when I sat down I could smell the bread. Now I pretty much have all smell back. Took a walk and could smell someone's BBQ in the breeze.

Which is bs. Distribution is not the problem. The problem seems to be on the actual vaccination end. According to reports. Nationally, approx. 19% of states allotments have been used. In Ohio it is 14%. This is one of the complaints Ohio's governor has. It is taking too long from delivery to actual vaccination. On top of that. if 60% of nursing staff refuse to take it. How much time and effort is being wasted going to these nursing homes and only vaccinating 40% of eligible staff.

Problem was there was no plan. Federal Government sent it to the states and they sent it to the hospitals. They need to create vaccine field hospitals with the federal reserve or whoever, lets get this done!

If by federal reserve. You mean National Guard of Army reserve. It would have to be whoever. Imo. Visible involvement by the military would create more problems with minority acceptance of vaccine (see Tuskegee Airmen). Not sure what other kind of nationalization with the same numbers would be possible. The states should have been planning a long time ago. Local government should be the most knowledgeable about local resources and capabilities. Some states are were still trying to decide who gets it first. While the vaccine was waiting in storage.

If it weren't for the Fed's actions, distribution wouldn't even be under discussion, because the vaccine wouldn't have even been approved for several more years. Normally a virus will burn itself out by the time a vaccine would normally be approved.

pushing for vaccine for emergency approval by FDA was a success at federal level.
The distribution of the vaccine is part 2, a separate phase and there are no efforts around it at present at the federal level.

Not going to Matter from what I witnessed Thursday and Yesterday , we are going to have massive spreads of the virus. One park must have had 4,000 plus mask-less people in it, car show, out law bikers, low riders and you name it , its like a bell rang and 75% of the peopl said screw this , they are partying like its 1999. As far as distribution everyone is and expert except nobody really is. As far as the Federal Govt, they like local Govt rarely does anything right. The mistake was guys like DR Foochie and other talking heads talking like a vacinne was a cure, now of course he has switched gears again, as the Economic crisis expands , the new administration will be overwhelmed, by angry people, initially they will be able to blame eh X-administration, but after 3 to 6 months of worsening conditions, the masses will realize it was all a head fake. 2021 will make 2020 look like a milk run, the people are not going to comply anymore. As far as the Black and Latino community, in California, 65% polled say they will not get a vacinne anyway. Whites at 50% and then of course we have another 11 to 20 million illegals who are not going to show up , especially if its the Army or National Guard is involved. As for me I am just going to sit back and watch the parade.

Ability to get the vaccine approved was 75% private companies and 25% from extradited policies at the FDA. I can appreciate their ability to see the need to extradite.

Distribution needs to be federal, we need 6x the people getting the vaccine, local and state governments, hospitals don't have the resources. Federal Government has the funds and the manpower to make it happen, but they haven't.

Masks and social distancing do not work. You tell me how one person living in a house can get it and other people living in the house don't get it. The people that say of course it works say so for no other reason than the expert on TV said it works. Look at the data and facts man. Cases going up regardless majority has been wearing masks and social distancing. I guarantee you that it is not all the people not wearing masks getting COVID. It does not work. These "experts" don't know ****. Fully capable of forming my own opinions without somebody telling me what to believe.

You remind me of the people who contest appraisals because they "know" better than the appraiser. Science isn't political, it just is. Facts are facts. You are picking and choosing your facts. The experts on TV are the CDC along with many well known epidemiologists. They are not pretend experts, they are experts.
