There has never been peace it just hasn't hit our shores-- Lets see Korea-Vietnam-Dominican Republic- Afghanistan-Iraq to name a few. that metric is no changed as other countries have the capability to hit us with nuclear weapons. We simply had 70 years of good luck but now that luck is gone.
