Obama supported the overthrow of a Russian backed dictator by freedom seeking people's exactly as he should have done. We should have supported Hong Kong too and not just wrote them off. General Mattis told the nation that as well. I would isolate Russia from the international economic system as best I could while I placed nuclear landmines on their border that would only go off if they detected tracked, armored vehicles passing above (or we felt like setting one off every year on the 4th of July as a demonstration of OUR "masculinity").

You know that Israel, China, and many others try to sway our elections, right? And if we are doing it to other countries as well it's part of doing business. Did we make China pay when they gave Clinton direct cash in the nineties, and no one cared since he was the establishment candidate in '96? This is kind of ridiculous. The way to fix it is to put systems in place to prevent it from happening. There is no evidence that a few Russian groups that spent a few thousand dollars on social media swayed anything in '16.
