Do you compliment house to homeowner?

Or what?

And while we're at it, what makes you think presenting yourself as LW while you're on the clock is an appropriate mode of conduct or professional in demeanor? If you walk into someone's house that you don't like do you think it appropriate to convey your worldview - which has zero to do with your day job - to them?

In my professional capacity I serve the legitimate interests of everyone equally regardless of their personal attributes, politics or worldview. You should consider doing the same.

Only one time I misjudged a homeowner.
I thought she was MAGA. So I lauded Trump's tax reform. It was awkward.

I listen to lots of pro-Trump comments in houses. I smile and nod. I see pro-Biden signs in yards occasionally, but they never want to discuss Biden like Trumpers do. Never discuss politics or religion with strangers.

I don't discuss politics unless they bring it up.
If they're Biden people, I'm Team Biden.
If they're Trump people, I'm for the tax reform.

I try to not even have an opinion until I develop my opinion.
I'm not sure why you posted what you posted in reply to Fernando's thread....
Doesn't make sense to me....

I've decide to declare SHENANIGAN on your post anyway.... :)
Mostly because I'm bored and also because the electric fence is temporarily down right now-at least on this thread....

OPINION of what....
The appraised value or the physical characteristics of the property or the person meeting you at the property, or....
I'm going to assume the value-because I can and want to....

For most of us or at least the majority of forumites who have been in the appraisal industry for decades....
(I'm not going to assume that all of us are equally skilled as appraisers-I for one will admit I can't hold a candle to you when it comes to appraising)....
It seems silly to me to believe that the majority of appraisers with 2-3 decades of experience don't have an opinion of at least a range of value for the subject property prior to inspecting it....
Inspection could be physical on virtual (if virtual data is available)....
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the range of value isn't $1 to $2,000,000....

Thats the problem in recent years with this group. When you can tell the author by the title, its a little silly
Terrel and Dean, among the privileged appraiser looking down at other appraisers.
There are many less experienced appraisers on AF and Superman not afraid to go to topics many afraid to talk about.
Stop looking down from your ivory towers.
