Pegged my Windows 10 PC this afternoon

Ordered a Lenovo docking station for my gen2 Thinkpad, for Sunday delivery. Should have had one already, duh.

I shouldn't have to. This baby has 21 fans and runs at 89 degrees. Plus they all work and just need a thorough cleaning. I think all I need is a motherboard, cpu, ram, gpu, a drive or two and an operating system. Whoopee

You may not need to upgrade that much. I just fired up a w11 virtual machine and only gave it 8gb of ram and 4 cores of cpu and she works fine.

Yes, the GPUs were connected, but I am only going with one for the new setup. I want a widescreen 31" OLED monitor to replace my 27" LG LED HDR monitor and swap the latter for one of the Dell HD LCD units. Going from three monitors to two.

I am one of those overkill nuts. That's why my 2013 build lasted as long as it has. I am going with an ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Extreme motherboard and an Intel Core i9 285K CPU. I guess the EATX motherboards are falling out of favor because NEWEGG doesn't stock them anymore, but Best Buy has them.
