Good point, butter knives would be a safer and more practical gift. I agree, in fact gifts for practically all occasions should be for children.

really? I'm like a kid at Christmas and love giving nice gifts out. Got a friend a nice bottle of Bordeaux, another a bottle of good sparkling wine and shilajit and a 3rd a pair of shoes and gifts for all the kids.

The thought is nice, but I don't recall ever having an emotional reaction to a gift someone gave me. Obviously a sentiment to keep to myself but I'm 100% sure that I'm not the only one.

But then again, nobody ever sent me an autographed coffee cup, so there's that.

I am uncomfortable receiving gifts, but enjoy giving gifts.
