What is a good gift for appraisers?

You're recommending recreational drugs??? :rof:
Speaking of drugs....

Trump orders less dangerous federal classification for marijuana

President Donald Trump signed an executive order Dec. 18 to federally classify marijuana as a less dangerous substance, the biggest change for the drug since 1970 and an opportunity for the industry to operate more easily.

Trump directed the government to stop classifying marijuana as a Schedule I drug, which includes the most dangerous substances such as heroin, LSD and ecstasy. The Drug Enforcement Administration describes Schedule I substances as having no "medical use and a high potential for abuse."

WTF!

Toga parties were out of style in the 50's, pajama parties were in. A quarter keg of beer was nine bucks. A hundred bucks would have lasted me two semesters.
You've given me an idea in my never ending battle to convert people to the libertarian camp. Some frat boys I know are apolitical and distrust government. I could talk Adam Smith & Ron Paul all day and they wouldn't listen, but if I can show them how the federal reserve's printing press has increased the price of beer so much, they'll be instant converts. Frat boys never change in that respect. I'm glad to know some people were having fun back in the 50s.

Holiday and birthday gifts are for kids. Not adults.
Grinch

I took a case of Little Debbie Xmas cakes to my bank client. That's 120 cakes... ought to last most of the week next week. I feel amiss that we don't have many places where the salvation army bell ringers are anymore. I don't like to miss dropping a $100 there. It's my biggest gift.

I go to a Pecan place and get candied pecans, cracked pecans, and local jellies for gifts to family. A friend and I have a habit of exchanging oddball gifts as more gag gifts than anything. My grandniece gets drawing things. She loves to sketch and draw, and I added a bird book for her birthday (it's a December event) and a suet feeder and suet bricks. I'm making her a bird watcher like her namesake, my mother.

I threaten my family to not buy me anything that is not consumable. I have 40 shirts if i have one. I have more books than I can read. Just buy me some beef sticks or something low-carb. I'm not needing anything.

Thanks a lot for aging me 20 years, appreciated. I've been a libertarian since my frat boy days. The college I attended preached the teachings of Ludwig von Mises. Sadly, they are moving toward the Christian Conservative right, even having former VP Mike Pence teaching a Political Science class.
