Alamode is verified UAD 3.6

He's real, I'll formerly introduce you to him on the next thread you're both commenting on. He's never uttered a cross word at me, that may change after the introduction.
Am I missing something?

You know, if it was anybody but Bert, I'd feel bad for them. He can't even complete a sentence without demeaning everyone else in the room, though.
Bert most likely purchased Beta format when Video Recorders and players first came out. VHS won that war and the Bert's had worthless equipment because he thinks he's smarter than everyone else. He has no comprehension on developing user friendly tools or software and you can have a great product but it has to be both affordable and easy to use. He just doesnt get it.

I recorded radio commercials in Hollywood in the '80s. Truthfully, Beta was a much better format than VHS. Better picture, more stable, smaller format, less tape eaten inside the cassette.... if I recall correctly, a couple manufacturers like Magnavox and or JVC put out some slick machines that everyone gravitated to and it pushed Beta aside.

Of course, the above has nothing to do with the Mars dude being an arrogant a*s...

Yes but VHS was liked by the ones who sold and rented movies and VHS quickly was the manufacture of tapes winner and by then it really didn't matter that Beta was better. Finally my point was better to the user and consumers is affordability and easy to use. Those are concepts the Flux Capacitor Dude doesn't understand.
