No need to raise your fees, hahahahaha

AI might be optimistic based on the depressing amount of fear seen here from the traumatized AMC fee appraisers, which is sad to witness. I hope they can overcome it as this is a rare moment to fight back against the vastly subpar fees paid out by AMC's.
Good point. Or it could cause a lot of appraisers to do what I did (just as the pandemic boom hit), reject AMCs all together and go after the clients who just use portals or direct appraiser contact, actually have 3 clients like that and they are my favorite.

Let’s be honest. The new UAD 3.6 will do away with the need for appraisers taking comp photos. That will be the out for the AMCs to not raise fees. Will not be surprised if they even lower them.

ansi is not law...because it is unconstitutional :rof:

The clients may require comp photos, like how many still require the 1004MC. I think there is value in driving the comps, if only to CYA.

if you need measuring instructions...you shouldn't be an appraiser

ansi is part of the sow...which is USPAP....in turn is incorporated into state laws...prove me wrong :rof:
It's only part of the SOW because it's a user requirement for that particular assignment.

The minimum is that you're not allowed to falsely say (i.e. "lie) that you met the requirements for the assignment without doing so. Even worse to act that way deliberately. If objected to this requirement then you shouldn't have accepted the assignment.

only congress can pass laws.... :rof:

same goes with their unacceptable words....they should try reading the first amendment :rof:
