A.I. Stuff

I don’t use Ubers that often but when I do, it seems to happen in spurts. And the money adds up quick I cannot wait for Robo taxis to be plentiful enough that Uber and Lyft and their drivers (my daughter was assaulted and held against her will once) are history

While using my email with a tenant which I had responding sense September, I noticed today that it has an A.I. overview giving me a summary of what was discussed in short paragraph. Amazing.
I like how I now don't need to read all my emails in a timeline to figure out what's happening.
A.I. in this case is making my life easier.

1) Chinese electric vehicles​


  • Canada reached a new trade understanding with China that reduces tariffs on Chinese-made electric vehicles (EVs). This effectively re-opens the Canadian market to EV exports from China.
  • Under that deal, there is an annual cap (initially around 49,000 vehicles per year, rising to about 70,000 over five years) that Chinese EVs can enter Canada with a much lower tariff (about 6.1%).
  • The previous tariff was 100%, which had largely blocked Chinese EVs from selling competitively in Canada — so this is a meaningful shift.

I have they are amazing that's the problem if they came here they'd crush our auto industry. Elon has said Chinese EV's are the biggest competition and given what he's said coupled with canceling the S & X he many not care anymore. He believe Optimus bots will be the next big thing, who knows.. Funny though, Canadians are freaking out over bringing those cars over Carney is a dumbazz

I still wouldn't buy one yet even if available due to reliability concerns. Not because they are Chinese "junk" but that they are loaded with so much technology and I'd be worried the manufacturer would move on to the "next version" quickly and not provide timely or quality software updates as well as little specific parts. I got burnt buying a top of the line Chinese Android that was amazing on paper - but then it just stopped getting updated and always had weird bugs and crashes. There's also so many Chinese brands, I expect there to be a lot of consolidation similar to the American auto industry and would be afraid I didn't pick a winner. That said, I took this photo and think this is a pretty rad vehicle which is competitive with the EV Cayman/Boxter (despite being heavy as sin):

China is so ahead of US in terms of EV vehicles. US has set barrier preventing EVs from China in selling here leaving the EV market to Tesla.
Even with no competition for Tesla and with less EV cars being bought here now (Tesla will stop selling Model S and X and change factory in Fremont to making robots), the EV market is given to China thanks to Trump.
