On second thought, ethical and moral people can’t work in DC. It would only corrupt us like it has them. It’s best to stay as far away from that demonic town as you can. Keep your soul intact.

In the end, it’s about fees and always has been about fees. Like it or not appraisers, whether they have a PhD or not, can’t stay in the field with AMCs robbing everyone. Below is a graph someone posted in a FB group illustrating typical lending assignment pay structure since AMCs were handed the keys to the kingdom:

What absolute moron (or liar) came up with that first line? Or the 3rd line? I take that back - they're referring to fee appraisers operating without instructions or checklist reviews.
