ACI Is Not Running Again

One thing Ala Mode has on most is their multi-appraiser office networking capability.

Most residential Appraisers can use a very basic simple non-complex software programs.

I liked Appraisal Studio before it went out of business. I liked NCV before it went out of business.

Clickforms works well for most anything residentially.

To each their own......

I had Clickforms for 20 years and never had to call support but once and that was to move the program from one computer to a new one.

I demo'd Total years ago and it was too frick'n complex and needlessly so. Plus the "demo" charged me 20% for "restocking" it anyway. I can see it might have advantages in a larger urban area, but import and integration features were worthless for some things in the large rural areas I worked.

SFREP (Appraise-it) works very well. Clickforms is comparable. ACI? Everyone around here hated the program. I cannot think of anyone using it. Most are Total and some are Clickforms. ACI nope.

Total has been hot garbage for me for a while. Learned on Appraise It but was archaic when I made the switch Total otoh is a glitchy pita all the time I must be their biggest complainer. The problem du jour is when I try to edit out people/anything in pics it locks up and I have to restart and tech support tells me they will make a ticket and send it up to engineering. They end up fixing issues the next update which could be months. I will probably switch on cost alone soon though I'd imagine they'd handle the ACI crisis better

Just called freedom appraise. They are working on a converter now to help out in trying times. Said it should be ready tomorrow. You will be able to download a PDF and send them a link, they will email back a mismo file.

Which

This violates USPAP and is not usable. They will have all the data from that appraisal while also not being the client.
It's the same as using ACI to convert, no difference.
