ACI just down or out of business

*SNIP* with some new software, which I hate, but there's no way I'm keeping ACI after being treated like this...

OK - Til literally YESTERDAY this was MY position. Since then I've done the Clickforms webinar (which will be available recorded shortly), and after re-creating 2 ACI files (for revisions) and setting up my 2055/1004 templates, I am inching closer to "no going back" ...

I've used Bradford in the past and the software works fine. However, they will nickel and dime you. For example when the UAD first came out they were the only software provider who charged for this new feature even though their agreement stated that the subscription included all updates. Moreover, after finding out Bradford is a commie I could not in good conscience continue to use them.

This would be an*absolute* deal killer for me. How do you know that, or are you using it as a term of accommodation?

considering clients/lenders are starting to send emails stating they will not accept any files generated by ACI. At this point even if the server were up, you may still be dead in the water depending on your client/lender.
If that's true then ACI is dead in the water. And if another forum member here is also correct that the Bradford guy is a communist I would never use that product if it were the last one available on the planet. Will be looking into that, and hope to find out he's wrong.

If you're going to REALLY try hard to avoid using any technology that was developed, or that is owned, by someone with whose vote you disagree with, good luck with that "cave condo" you'll be moving into. ;)

You're perfectly fine to use whatever software you like even if it is created by Joseph Stalin. I just don't like the CEO of a company shoving politics down my throat to each his own. :giggle:

Look, there's a thread covering this matter that became so intense it was closed down. Let's not do that here.

We're all free to invest our hard earned money where we like. However, when someone goes out of their way to make sure that you know they despise you it's then incumbent on me to choose wisely, as I now know more. You're all free to disagree with me, just as the individual in question is free to say as he pleases.

That's it.

Now, let's get back to freaking ACI...

1 draw back, they limit us to 10 location maps, then we pay a fee for loc maps,
To clarify -- location maps are unlimited. For flood maps, you start off with 10 -- if you run out/need more call their Sales folks and they'll get you taken care of.
