ACI just down or out of business

ACI is mostly working. maps and MISMO ******* BUT ENV FAILS EVERY TRY!!!!!! All else including web update work, MISMO works. BUT NO ENV files!!!!!!!!!!!!! And if you want tech support you have to wait till med January according to website. My chances of renewing are near zero now. Clickfroms looks as good or better. With free trial did a 1025 yesterday. I'll cannibalize that for new 1025 template. Just wasted a ton of time with 1004 in ACI!!!!!!!!!!!! No excurse for their broken **** and total lack of support - not even a banner on their website trying to apologize or even explain. A GD warning about ENV not working would have saved me a few more hours today. Now have to copy all into another new Clickforms - which had no issues with anything including ENVs. By week end I'll have 1025, 1004 and 2055 templates in Clickforms. They deserve my business. ACI doesn't. At 63 after 25 years I really didn't need this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ACI nothing like they were. I'd bet in 12 months time they will have lost 80+% of clients over how they've handled this.

That’s odd, as we made ENVs just late in the afternoon today. Are you sure about that?

Can you convert your PDF that you print from ACI into XML through clickforms?

I am not sure. I have not tried to do any conversions yet. Thankfully, none of my older reports that require any changes have returned. I will run into that problem next year. Hopefully, I will not have to recreate the entire report. I saved all my XML and PDF copies of the ACI files I sent. It is just something I started doing a while ago due to all of the shenanigans going on in the real estate world. I will update the forum if I learn how to do what you ask.

ENV is Working.

I uploaded to appraisal port. It went through fine. Weird. Maybe it’s spotty at first for some. Good luck! I did download total. Plan on switching but was glad ACI came back on so I could take my time learning the new software. I do have a 1004 template all ready. It seems to have more bells and whistles. As it should for that price!

You'll like the side by side menu. It speeds things up and helps you import comps. It has way more bells and whistles than I use. That's why I have the silver plan and cheapest route.

It shows other appraisers input on a comp but only if you share your comp data with them. I don't like them not paying you to give them a comp and they charge you if you just use a comp in their database. You can still look at other comps and not buy them for like $1 each. If you buy them, it will just auto populate into your grid. It will show if you have used the subject or a comp before in another report. That is in side by side screen on sales comp grid. I like that side by side screen. I don't ever buy the comps from another appraiser. I just look at them. It is easy to populate yourself in the side by side screen.

Yeah, if they sent a rep or two here with updates we’d be able to tell if it was BS or not.

I’d have at least respected the effort, BUT, they didn’t do that. I’m not sorry, but that’s absolutely unacceptable. They’re going to hear that from me, and there better be some very kind things they’re prepared to do for us or it’s a non-negotiable ** to them.

IMHO they couldn’t have handled this worse if they had tried.

Epic failure with customer service - yeah - I'll schedule a call - for mid January???? They flat out suck! No ENVs now - which 1/2 my jobs require! And no heads up to warn of that? So pissed I didn't try to make env with an old report!!! Well now my 2 newest and prettiest templates are Clickforms 1004 and 1025. Really just a 2055 and then 1004D template and I'm all set with this product that works as advertised - with great tudortorials!

It is the lack of communication that upsets so many.

They may be done.

They may be packing up and going home and to another job.

They may be going to work for another software company.

That is why they can't answer the phone?

I think I pay $469 for the cheapest route with alamode. Now many I am sure can go for over $1,000 with the top notch and all the bells and whistles.

Many of those probably have many appraisers in an office. Some maybe not .

It is silver plan. I only get phone support like normal business hours.

The higher plans get phone support 24/7 and other benefits that go with data storage and tools that help them out in the field.

that includes like $40 sales tax.

Price is like $429 for cheapest route.

I think sales tax rates vary by state so that might be something to consider.
