I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I'm just pointing out that most total users probably have never had to reach out to tech support for anything. It starts with having a decent machine.

Seems like a good start would be to have a conversation with your software providers tech team and ask what's the best computer set up for 3.6. Tell them what yours spects are and see what they think ?

A tech guy working with 3.6 every day soon learns what's required and also may be hesitant to tell you that you need to change computers.
I'd tell him moneys not an issue and what would he use or purchase.

They will all tell you "don't run anything else on your computer but their software".
